Renovations and upgrades are well under way at the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens! With a $36 million dollar budget, several large projects are coming together. The new front entrance is looking good, and the huge space for the Interactive Children's Garden will be a popular new attraction. The Interactive garden is planned to open in the fall.
Also new will be the River Otter exhibit and an enhanced Grizzly Bear exhibit.

Probably my new favorite area will be the new Seal and Sea Lion Experience slated to open in the spring of 2016. The exhibit will resemble that of Pier 39 in San Francisco and will include underwater viewing areas!
The Riverbanks Zoo is still functioning well with some modified paths to get you around the park. Once completed, these new changes will guarantee you cannot find a better family membership in Columbia!
