In addition to mustard, light tomato, and vinegar & pepper-based BBQs, there will also be chicken bog, hash & rice, kid-friendly foods, and local craft beers. Be sure to check out the artistic creations by local SC artists including wooden decoys, handmade guitars, handmade paper sculptures, silver and copper objects, silver jewelry, blacksmithing, textiles, sweet grass baskets, memory painting, metal art, furniture and jewelry. Guests will get to enjoy the exhibit opening, "Time and Place" featuring the artwork of James Fowler Cooper. The self-taught artist tells his story of the Lowcountry through etching and prints. Also on display is a "Bed Turning" presentation of historic quilts where you can learn about different quilts' history, patterns, significance and backing. A special tent for kids will have lots of activities and hands on crafts.
