Holiday Lights on the River. Saluda Shoals Park's Holiday Lights on the River starts this Wednesday night, November 25th and runs through December 31st. It is open nightly from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This is the Midlands largest drive-through light show and is something for the whole family to enjoy! Turn your radio to the designated radio station to listen to Christmas tunes as you drive through the 2 mile loop and take in more than 1 million sparkling lights and 400 animated light displays. There are many other activities to enjoy while at Saluda Shoals Park too. Ride the Saluda Shoals Choo-Choo train for $2 per person. Winter Wonder Ride is downhill tubing without the snow through a series of lighted arches for $2 pp or $10 for all you can slide. Go for a hayride on the Wetland Wonderland Walking Trail for $1 pp or walk along it for free and enjoy the laser light show and Deck the Doors Holiday Door Display along the trail. You can visit with Santa from 12/11/15 through 12/23/15 and get your picture taken with him; included with admission. There is also a gift shop and concessions with S'mores $2, 3 marshmallows on a stick $1, popcorn $1, and soda, hot chocolate, hot cider, or water $1. Admission to enter the park for the light display is $15 per car, $25 per passenger van or $40 per bus. The Holiday Lights on the River is open nightly, however, the gift shop and Winter Wonder Ride will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Saluda Shoals Park is located at 5605 Bush River Road, Columbia. Be sure to take in this spectacular holiday light show and get the whole family in the Christmas spirit! You won't be disappointed!
